Looking for an electric bike and this was suggested to me. Ordered and Received the bike but had an issue with a broken part. Contacted Heybike support and was immediately shipped new part. Finished the assembly (and if I can do it anyone can) and took it out for a spin. The acceleration on assist 1 was noticeable and this bike was fast. It also fits me well being a shorter gal at 5’2”. Highly recommend Heybike and their customer service. Definitely refreshing!

the heybike cityscape is an amazing electric bike. it is wallet friendly + sleek at the same time. the bike holds a battery charge up to 40 miles + can reach speeds of 23+ mph. i love this bike + the customer service that comes with it. the team at heybike goes beyond what is typically found in the market. i HIGHLY recommend this company + this bike.

This model of Heybike is superior and has all one needs to cruise nearly efforlessly. LED sceen informs the ride of all the necessities: battery level, speed, current range with pedal assist and efficiency of pedal mode level1-3. Front and rear isc brakes are a safety attibute thst make even quick stops doable. Front and rear taiilights provide for evening cruising. Saddle is not a tortuous speed bike slim piece but a leather comfortable bowl upon which to sit. I feel I sould put on a kids bannana seat and just lean back! I get a range of 36+ miles. It has a solid retro look and I have gotten several compliments on its appearance. I did not like the manual as it left out critical info like recommended tire pressure and even intructions on pedal assist. And the manual assumed one knows way more about bikes in general.
All these bikes come shipped to a dealer or individual to do the final assembly. An ongoing packaging problem was revealed: the hub of the rear wheel of my bike got slammed in shipping. Not visible on the exterior of the box but it bent the guard and derailer enough that a repair was needed. Customer service was excllent, guiding me through the repair and repaying me for the repair when I could not do it myself.

Reaper Welds & Fabrication –
I’m writing this review from the stand point as a industrial mechanic and welding fabricator. The packing of this bike is well packed with minimal trash to throw out. The bike arrived undamaged from its ground shipping from California to Chicago. It’s a fairly light package at about 76lbs considering what’s inside and easy to move. It’s easy to unbox and you will need a utility knife a pair of cutters to cut a few thick nylon zip ties. I used electricians side cutters.
Theres minimal assembly required and
the assembly of the bike is super easy with minimal mechanical inclination or aptitude needed. All the tools are provided for you. Even the quality of the provided tools are above average. They’re worth keeping them in a small pouch as your tool kit for the maintenance of the bike.
While assembling the bike as a welder I naturally began inspecting the welds. These welds are solid with no signs of poor quality in any of the welds. They’re uniform and done well.
The mechanical design of this bike is high quality and also solid. There were no apparent flaws in the production process (I work on industrial machines in a automotive parts manufacturing plant which gives me the knowledged and ability to spot manufacturing flaws). The quality control process of the manufacturing of this bike is very high. The fasteners they provided even surprised me using stainless steel cap head screws that will endure wet climate better than cheaper galvanized fasteners used by other manufacturers. The stainless steel screws offer a nice subtle BLING ✨ to the overall appearance of this bike.
Looking at the electrics of this bike and I’m not disappointed here either. The wiring is well done and you will not need to make any connections. Should you need to replace an electrical part you will not need to cut any wires as they’re twist plug designed connections. The LCD display is large enough to easily read yet small and economic.
The rims are also flawless and well made as are the front and rear brake assembly. The front shock absorbing forks move smoothly and have the ability to lock them for a stiff ride. The fenders are abs plastic which eliminates unbending metal should you hit something. The back cargo rack is heavy duty and should be sufficient to fit most panniers. I did not order baskets for this bike though the front mounting bracket is well built to the frame.
The derailleur is Shimano and is sufficient for this bike
The seat and handle grips are very comfortable as are the placement of the handlebars. Both adjustment to your liking.
The one thing I didn’t like and will probably change are the pedals. They’re plastic which the greater majority of people will find sufficient. They do have good grip although I prefer to use an aluminum pedal instead.
The owners manual is basic and easy to read though it does lack a better explanation of the bikes settings.
Over all I give the design and manufacturing of this bike 5 out of 5 stars.
I have not ridden the bike yet to test out it’s overall ride and capabilities but will update this in the future.

First of all the bike was delivered prior to the date quoted. The packaging was amazing and super easy to remove and i assembled the bike in 40 minutes. I had a couple of questions so emailed their customer support and Mandy was quick to reply with answers to both my questions. This bike is a dream to ride, exceeded all my expectations and I am so pleased with my purchase.

J’ai bien reçu le produit même avant la date prévue. Le seul affaire c’est que il y a des pièces qui ne sont pas neufs, comme l’écran. Il a été utilisé beaucoup avant et il y a beaucoup de marques et rayures. L’application ne marche pas non plus sur mon cell. Pixel 7.

Very heavy bike . Good battery. Motor kicks in , carefull , takes a while to get used to. Love the Lights and horn! The on or off for front suspension is a plus.disc brakes Work well. The distance between the pointed END of seat to frame is only 10 inches , other bikes 14 inches. Made m’y wife dislike the bike and the sudden motor surge did not help.Luckily , i like the bike !

Ordered this bike on Amazon, it conformed to the pictures and description on Amazon – Cityscape 2.0. Strangely, there is no Cityscape on the Heybike website, although there is an assembly instruction video on YouTube for a Cityscape that looks nothing like this. There is no video for exactly this bike. The Cityscape 2.0 looks much more like the Cityrun on the Heybike website, but not exactly, which is the most highly rated best value e-bike on Consumer Reports. It looks to be far superior to the earlier Cityscape 1.0. Comparing this bike to a $3000 Specialized Turbo it stacks up pretty well.
The assembly instructions were a bit too brief and confusing, but over all assembly is not too difficult. However it was made tricky by a faulty weld in a threaded insert in the frame used to attach one of the four struts of the rear rack. The support staff was prompt and concerned, but in the end it was easier and quickest to effect a work around by modifying one of the support struts with a grinder/cut off tool.
Over all, this seems to be a great bike, and almost too good a value to be true. I can’t speak yet as to durability, but it is attractive, solid, has great features, and is comfortable to ride. My only dissapointment in the end is that it’s now shown on Amazon for $100 less than I paid!
