Yes, the traditional Tour de France winning bike is in yellow rather than the pink shown here. That’s because this bike was Tadej Pogacar’s winning bike for the 2024 Giro d’Italia. Rather, it was his second backup bike, prepared exactly the same as the bike Pogacar won on.

Where are the other two bikes? Pogi has the winning bike, while Ernesto Colnago has the first backup bike. This bike — the third of three — is set to go into the Colnago brand’s museum.

Pogacar’s bike features a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 wheelset, custom-made Carbon Ti chainrings with 55-40T chainrings, Enve touch points, and more. Its weight? 7.4 kg (16.3 pounds) with pedals and the Giro-centric pink paint scheme.

See that black bit under the right side brake lever? That’s a Shimano Sprint Shifter, allowing Pogi to shift gears with his thumbs. (Photo: Alvin Holbrook/Velo)
