About DownBurg
DownBurg is a free, browser-based tool for saving videos from Facebook, Instagram and TikTok to your own device. There is nothing to install and no account to create: you paste a video link, the tool looks up the file that the platform makes publicly available, and you download it as an MP4.
How it works
- Copy the link of a public video from the Facebook, Instagram or TikTok app or website.
- Paste it into the box on the matching DownBurg page and press Download.
- Choose from the qualities that are actually available and save the file.
What DownBurg can and cannot do
- It can only fetch videos that are publicly available. It does not bypass logins, privacy settings or access controls, and it never asks for your password.
- It cannot make a video sharper than the original. If a video only exists in 720p, 720p is the best you will get.
- Links can fail when a post is deleted, restricted by region, limited to friends, or when a platform changes how it delivers video.
Responsible use
Videos belong to their creators. Please download only content you own, have permission to save, or are otherwise allowed to keep for personal use, and do not re-upload other people’s work as your own. See our Terms of Service and copyright and DMCA policy.
Your data
We do not require registration. Read the Privacy Policy for details about the limited technical data the site processes.
