Copyright and DMCA Policy

DownBurg respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. DownBurg does not host, store or publish the videos it processes; it helps users access files that Facebook, Instagram and TikTok already make publicly available. Users are responsible for making sure they have the right to download and use any content.

Reporting infringement

If you believe that material accessible through DownBurg infringes your copyright, email contact@downburg.com with the subject “Copyright” and include:

  1. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on DownBurg, or the original video link(s), that you want reviewed.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

We review complete notices promptly and may block the affected link or domain pattern from being processed. Because the original video is hosted by the source platform, you may also report it directly to that platform.

Repeat or abusive use

We may restrict access for users who repeatedly use the service to infringe copyright. Knowingly false claims may carry legal liability.
